FREEZER BEEF:
1/4 share mixed - $4.60 per pound hanging carcass weight, plus butcher fees. (average share is 90-110 lbs./ average total price for 1/4 share is $890)
1/2 share mixed- $4.40 per pound hanging carcass weight, plus butcher fees. (average share is 180-220 lbs./ average total price for 1/2 share is $1700)
- These charges include slaughter, dry aging (2 weeks), custom cutting, vacuum sealing, freezing.
- Weights and prices vary due to size of individual cattle.
- Shares include a variety of steaks, roasts, cubes, ground, (organs, and bones if you request it).
